Holiday tips 12 month old?

Going to Spain in a few weeks with baby who will just be a week past 12 months old.

Starting to worry and stress a little bit that it won't be much of a holiday lol. She's not waking, but crawling and pulling herself up on things. She's my first so forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions, but a few things are confusing me!

-We have bought a travel buggy so can we just keep her in that going through security and then do they put it in hold when we reach the gate?
-Going to ask the transfer company for a car seat- is that fine?
-She will only just have turned 12 months and formula fed. haven't tried cows milk yet but I highly doubt she will all of a sudden just be off formula? How does that work when going on the plane?
-do you buy nappies and swim nappies out there or full suitcase?

  • inflatables for pool do most people buy out there?
  • do most restaurants have high chairs for babies? (Going to Malaga region)
  • do you normally go inside when baby napping or have them sleep out while you're by the pool in shade/with fan? She still has 2 naps a day and we're staying in hotel
  • she normally goes to sleep around 7, but what do others do with their babies on holidays in evening. Do you just eat really early and stay in, or do you keep them up and take them or do you let them sleep in pram and lift into cot when back?

God sorry these are so basic and probably so stupid but just a bit baffled with her being my first! Thank you

Yes - you just have to collapse it going through the machines.

-Going to ask the transfer company for a car seat- is that fine?

Not sure - but we have had one provided in the past

You can take bottles of formula - or order ready made ones and pick up from Boots in the airport.

Take a few and buy a few - plenty of shops in Malaga

  • inflatables for pool do most people buy out there?

Buy and leave there

  • do most restaurants have high chairs for babies? (Going to Malaga region)

Yes

  • do you normally go inside when baby napping or have them sleep out while you're by the pool in shade/with fan? She still has 2 naps a day and we're staying in hotel

Whatever works - DS slept in the shade

Always went out and he would fall asleep in pushchair when he was ready - quite often walking back to the hotel as we kept him awake later. Lifted him when we got back.

Enjoy
