What do you do at the weekend with 4+ children(boys)?

Was just wondering how your weekends are spent with 4+ children? We have 4 boys 6,8,10 and a 1 year old and always wonder if we didn't have the structured sports at weekends, would we spend more time doing family stuff or have we just passed the civilised stage with 4 boys?

I have 2 boys and at the ages you describe we just did lots of active stuff to wear them out - structures football/ rugby. Trips to soft play/ swimming. Lots of walks.

Even now at 13 and 16 (nearly 17) their weekends and several nights a week revolve around sport. They also are regularly involved in Scouting activities and camps - not every weekend of course.
