What should a four month olds routine look like?

I’ve had my baby in a routine for a while now. He usually naps before his bath for up to 45 mins the last few days he isn’t napping but then he’s overtired & isn’t eating as much.

What would you suggest? His bedtime is 10pm & he sleeps until 8am.

Put him to bed earlier or keep trying to get him to take a nap?

At this age I started bringing the bedtime earlier, gradually getting to around 7 which we have stuck to for ~2years. Currently have a 2 month old who sleeps at 10pm, planning to start going earlier at 3 months.

Would you suggest a bedtime of 9pm? What are the chances he will still sleep until 8?

If 9pm works for you and your routine, I'd go for it. My 18 month old has always gone to bed between 8 and 11 and I wake her at 8am! She wasn't a great sleeper though. She is much better now and is usually asleep by 8.30 and Wales at 8am!

My 2yo sleeps 730-730. You'll love having your evenings back!

...Which has been standard since 6 months. At 6 months did 2 naps, dropped the second around 14m.
