Preparing soon to be big brother.

I'm sorry if this has been done alot but I've done a few searches and not got anything that's on topic!
I have a DS who has literally just turned 3 and am expecting DD next month. We have been through an extremely busy year and have finally bought and moved into our own house which we have been renovating for last few months. All of this has been disruptive to DS who has coped amazingly (better than me!) But recently he seems very clingy and had started hitting and just generally becoming very upset over little things.
I think, and nursery agrees , that he is overwhelmed and I am after some advice on how to best go forward and prepare him for the new baby!
It's all feeling a bit daunting as I have all the new baby stuff and birth to prepare for as well as making sure DS is happy and prepared.
Any ideas or tried and tested strategies welcomed!
I am a bit emotional today so apologies if this is total nonsense. Hopefully someone will comprehend it! Gin

I bought DD a book called ‘You were my first’ and that has been useful.

Thank you! We just got some books from the library which seem good. Also got some good advice from nursery. Can I give this a hopeful bump for some more tips 🤗

I'm the big brother t shirt was a fab hit with our 3 year old. He wore it every day for the first week or so (perhaps get two Grin)...

He picked out a gift for sibling... And baby bought him one.
He used to read to my bump

Obviously not real reading but he would describe books... 'look... Cat!'

Oooh, if you see it, we like the book 'there's a house inside my mummy'

Aww t-shirt is a good idea. We are getting him a little bag with some new toys in it for when baby comes and t-shirt will go well with that!

I saw 'there's a house inside mummy' on Amazon! Maybe we will give it a go! Thank you all!
