Worried I'll get mastitus can anybody help please???

Going away the weekend with hubby to a wedding. Really looking forward to it but so worried my milk going to build up and i end up with mastitus. Ds 19wks old now. Its an all day wedding and do I have to carry a breastpump with me in my handbag so i can express milk or do i leave it or what??? Just not sure what to do??

My friend went away for the weekend and she carried a hand breast pump when her DD was 4 months. She said it was fine doing this.

I think you should express as boobs will be painful and rock hard if you are doing a fair bit of feeding and suddenly do none for the weekend. Expressing will also help to keep up supply.
