I just need a bit of a kick up the rear! I have to leave my DD for two nights this weekend for a work thing, and I'm very anxious about it. My DP will be looking after her and I'm not worried about that, as he is very hands on and has had her on his own plenty. She's breastfed but takes a bottle happily and I've got plenty of expressed milk to leave. I suppose I'm just worried that she'll be upset and want me and I won't be there Sad or that I'll come home and she won't want to breastfeed any more as we had a real time getting it established and now it's our nice time together and I'd be heartbroken if it stopped because of something I've done.

So give me a MN kick up the jacksy please!

She will be absolutely fine and will be super happy when you return home - they always love coming back to the boob! Your DP will no doubt enjoy the bonding time but I'm sure that they too will be awaiting your return Smile
Relax and try to enjoy the break (albeit for work)

I think a couple of days away at this age is a perfect trial, she'll be over the moon when you return and at least it isn't for too long. I haven't breastfed my boy for over nine months but he'll still try go for it when he can so I'm sure she'll still want it too!
