Black out blind

Morning looking for advice/experience with black out blinds.

Little one is 8 months and probably going to have to go in her own room soon but is woken by any bit of light in her room.

We have a stick on blind in our room at the moment but looking for something more permanent. I find roller blinds have a strip of light up the top.

Any advice welcomed

We use the blackout blinds that velcro to the window frame. You put the velcro on the frame and the material just velcros straight to it. You just cut to size. No gaps and easily removeable.
