Having a baby very soon and need a car seat - ideally a light one. Can anyone advise please? It's looking like maxi cosy - thoughts?

If you want one you can lift in and out of the car then the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and Joie Gemm are decent, safe seats that aren't overly pricey. Both are under 4kg so not too heavy either but they all feel cumbersome when baby reaches 10lbs+ in my experience.

I wouldn't say any other them are light, especially with baby in them!

FYI I selling my maxi cosi cabriofix in good condition, let me know if you're interested

No baby car seats are light!

Are you using a travel system that car seat can fix onto?

Definitely recommend an isofix base for the car, easy to clip car seat in and out
