Formula feeding blocking teets

Hi,

I am finding that when I am using the powder formula no matter how much I shake the bottle to mix the powder it blocks the teet up making it difficult for baby to take her feed, any suggestions or anyone else have this issue?

What milk is it? Some are worse than others. Are you using hot enough water?

What formula are you using? I use aptimal and don't have any issues perhaps the water isn't warm enough to break it down sounds daft but are you also giving it a good shake before giving it to baby?

I'm using Aptamil and I use the Tommee Tippe prep machine so the water is hot enough, it was happening when I was using the old fashion way of using kettle to? I've changed to size 2 teets which helps a little but it is still blocking I make sure I give the bottle a good shake before the cold water goes in too but it doesn't seem to be helping much!
