My 18 month old daughter has started waking for a bottle of milk somewhere between 11 and 1. Prior to this she had been sleeping through without a feed from about 11 months.
She eats well during the day (usually has seconds of at least one meal at nursery) and I’ve been giving her an extra snack before bed which seemed to stop her wanting the milk for a few nights but now isn’t working.
I don’t think it’s a comfort thing as she is downing 6-12oz of milk like she really needs it. She won’t accept water as a substitute so I don’t think it’s thirst.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is it just a phase?
