Advice: Non specific viral rash

I called 111 when my daughter came up with a raised red rash all over her. They weren’t concerned and asked me to take her to the walk in centre.
Her temp was 36.3 and she was well in herself playing and eating normally. The walk in diagnosed a non specific viral rash but two days later it’s showing no signs of improvement. I’m going to take her to GP in the morning Can anyone whose child has had a non specific viral rash remember how long it took the rash to fade?

My DC has had a viral rash for five days now. The GP said it might be a mild form of chicken pox.

Oh no! I hope they feel better quickly!! Does it look similar?

What are you going to the GP for?

She has been assessed and diagnosed with a viral rash.

Up to a week. Nothing to worry about if they are well in themselves though?

A week or a bit longer. Virasooth was good, it gel that comes in a tube and seems to stop itching. Also E45 anti itch cream.
My DD's rash was worse than your though I think. Get well soon xx

I don’t think you need to see the GP unless your dd has become unwell. You’ve had a diagnosis Confused With my dc it’s taken up to a week for the rash to disappear.

I wouldn't take her to the GP if she's otherwise well in herself, no temp, eating and drinking fine.

she’s got a GP appointment for something unrelated but would rather them have a look. Said rash has been there three days and not improving
