Formula - any recommendations for help with constipation?

Hi all, DD is 10 days now and has struggled for past 3/4 days with pooping, rock hard and they get stuck. She’s currently on Cow and Gate (fine for DS1) anyone any recommendations as to different brand that might help with the pooping?
I’ve heard Aptimal is good, but I did seem to think that c&g and Aptimal were they same... or Hipp Organic any good?

They're all roughly the same as it's do tightly controlled but it could be worth trying SMA or Hipp as they're different company than C&G/Aptamil. Stupid question but are you making it up correctly as that can cause problems? Any advice from your HV/midwife?

How are you making up the milk?

Using prep machine 👌 was fine for the first but I think as this one was a few weeks early her tummy is just getting a bit more settled. Midwife is out tomorrow for 10 day check but I’d imagine she will just say takes a while for their tummies to settle!
I’ll give it a few more days- a week then try Hipp I think as I’ve read good stuff about them!

Hi Op try using the pre made bottles it was a tip I was once given by health visitor for my DS he seemed to go days with out pooing and it helped him a lot so as well as the powder formula try alternating so one bottle is the powder formula next feed use a pre made bottle see if that is any help

Mine was always super constipated and also projectile sicky - to the point where she was tried on Neocate with suspected CMPI. HiPP sorted her out in a matter of days, I swear by the stuff.

A few days late seeing this thread and hopefully things are better OP, but if not the Cow and Gate Comfort formula has been amazing for my ds. The tin specifically says it's for the dietary management of colic and constipation
