Properly waterproof cosy toes for buggy?

We are a really busy outdoorsy fam, (owing to my boys needing to be free range....) but our buggy cosytoes says it's weatherproof but it's really not. Any recommendations? Damp toddler toes = sad mummy. The plastic rain covers are a no go as baby pulls it off. Sorry if posted in the wrong area... But it's kind of parenting related?! (keep it kind pls)

The bugaboo high performance one is exactly this. Really snuggly with a thicker cover for really cold weather, longer than most foot muffs, waterproof with zip guard so very little if any wet gets past the zips. Fleece lined, machine washable, different fabric inside at the bottom to protect from muddy feet. If you are interested I am selling mine in black.

I think you’ll struggle as that’s what the rain cover is for. My son stuck his head out and got wet.... could you make one out of a ski jacket or similar?

Use with the buggy hood or rain coat hood to keep childs head dry.
