Pram/stroller

Hi first time mum with a 7.5 old

I need a new pram/stroller as my cosatto one is useless. I've been recommended a stroller below, would she be fine in this? I'm not sure at what age they should go in one. I'm going to put a furry liner in to make it cosy. Advice/thoughts welcomed

She needs something which is lay flat and parent facing.

What about mama and papa flip?

They are more expensive than I thought! Try looking at second hand market on Facebook.

Depends how much time they spend in the pram. DS went in to an outward facing "stroller" at about 8 months because that was all we had and space is vey limited. But he was barely in it because I used a sling the vast majority of the time.

That one is fine. They only need to be flat when they are newborn. Both my boys were moved into strollers by 4 months. I also had a cossatto which was useless! I just got a silver cross stroller once my boy hit 4 months and he has been in it ever since.

P.s the one you are looking at is suitable from birth so you're absolutely fine with it 😊

Sorry I though you meant 7.5 weeks.

Rosebud1302 · 02/09/2019 22:27

Sorry to jump in here but may I ask why the costatto ones are useless? Purely out of interest!

Pippinsqueak · 03/09/2019 09:05

The cosatto car seat bends her too much (more a v sheep than a u shape if you get me) she hates it and cries as she is restricted with the five point harness. Luckily I have a spare silver cross three point harness one but it's an old one so can't go on the pram. The pram itself is the same, uncomfortable and the foot rest stays in one position. I got mine when I found out I was pregnant, didn't do my research and just brought it because it looked pretty.

Thanks for all your replies.

Which cosatto do you have, we have the wow and it's been great

WhyBirdStop · 03/09/2019 09:33

The one you've linked is for an older child

Veronica560 · 03/09/2019 09:44

It states from birth to 15kg so should be absolutely fine. My ds had a joie outward facing pushchair from birth and then moved to silver cross wave as when he was 10 months I gave birth to dd who was in a lie flat carry cot until about 5 months they also have silver cross pop which is outfacing and they’ve both loved it it suitable from birth and I love it because of the hood such big coverage honestly if you like it I’d go for it

Veronica560 · 03/09/2019 09:45

As long as it lays flat it’s fine from birth to 15kg weight limit capacity I am not just saying that but what you’ve linked clearly stats that too 👍🏻

SnuggyBuggy · 03/09/2019 09:48

That should be OK. Most babies that age I see are in outward facing strollers.

Pippinsqueak · 03/09/2019 12:43

Thanks she's a nosy baby anyway so she won't mind being faced outwards

I have the giggle pixel about 4 years old.
