What's everyone's recommendations one the best baby sling? In all probability I will be having another C section so my core won't be up to much for a while. So looking for something with good support and easy to use/ pop baby into

TIA Thanks

A stretchy wrap should be fine for the first 3-4 months and can be wrapped/tied to avoid pressure on wound. Then switch to a buckle carrier like the Tula as far less faff. The beauty of a stretchy is that you pre tie and just pop baby in and out without the need to re do it each time

I loved my ergo 360- dead easy to put on and off and put baby in/ out of. But I probably didn’t use it til after the 3 month mark when he started hating going to sleep in the cot during the day. I think before that you need the newborn insert.

I had a Hana stretch wrap. They come in regular length or short which is handy if you are more petite, less length to wrap around! Baby loved it, I found it super comfortable. Could actually get some stuff done while baby slept and it didn’t hurt my back which some others had.

I also love my ergo carrier, did use it with the newborn insert but overall the wrap won out till about 5/6 months, as it sort of swamps a newborn a bit. When they were a bit bigger I used the ergo for a long time - so comfortable, babies/toddlers loved it. Front or back.

Hope that helps.

I'd recommend seeing if you have a local sling library so you can try some out and see what you find comfy and easy to use. I hired a close caboo for a couple of months after my c section and then tried out a few others and ended up buying a second hand ergo baby adapt. Hope you find something that suits you and baby!

I second the ergo 360
