I am a single mum to three (aged 5, 3 and 14 months). Tonight the older two have a very rare sleepover at their dad's so I have a chance to at least start to sleep train the baby... She is healthy, eats well in the day but wakes every 2 hours all night every night for a brief comfort breastfeed. I have got to do something!
She sleeps in a cot on the other side of the room from me, I have got a room divider ready to put up. We have white noise so as to wake each other less. Any attempt to not feed her she goes crazy.
Should I start to phase out the comfort feeds and keep one feed only, or go cold turkey?
I don't want to leave her to cry so was thinking of a stay and support type approach but am so tired not sure I will cope. No decent sleep in 14 months and not a single lie in either, she is up at 5am every day.
Help please!

Have you heard of Dr Jay Gordon’s night Weaning method. It might be a bit more gentle on her, especially if she’s used to feeding every 2 hours Smile

With mine I cut down the night feeds, so started by not feeding them till 12 ish if they woke and then not till 3 . If they woke between I would cuddle them back to sleep. Lots of crying first couple of nights but got easier! I then cut out one of those feeds and then the last one after around 3 nights of each.
