Introducing more cows milk into 1yo diet...

Unsure if this is the correct topic for this question...

I am trying to introduce more cows milk into my one year olds diet, please give me all your ideas as I'm struggling to think of anything more than obvious meals (porridge, scrambled egg, using it in pasta sauce)

Also we are using cow and gate 1-2 years milk atm but obviously can be expensive when he's having two bottles (one before bed and one during the night)

I have seen the Arla Big Milk, does anyone use this and find its better than normal whole milk?
It's pricier but seems to last at least three weeks (unsure if it will last this long, it says on the bottle to be used in 7 days from opening)

Thank you all for any advice Grin

mushy bread and milk (heat a mug full of milk, pour over chopped up bread and leave until the bread is soggy but the milk is still warm)

potato mashed with milk and crushed mackerel

you can also give things that contain cows milk, like plain unsweetened yogurt.

i haven't tried the arla milk before x

Swap the toddler milk for two cups of cow's milk? Cheese and yogurt count towards their dairy intake too.

We buy a 4 pint bottle that only my toddler has and that lasts 4-5 days - he finishes it before it goes off.

Is there a reason you are still using formula? Just swap those 2bottles for cows milk.

My dd goes through 4 pints of milk in about 4 days so never goes off

If she drinks 2 bottles a day and you add milk to other foods, she's getting enough anyway.

I was unsure if I could just swap the formula to cows milk without gradually phasing it out (unsure if it was heavier than formula and how LO would react) we have done half formula and half cows milk in tonight's bottle, will try this for a couple nights then go straight onto cows milk...

Sure you can just switch it, unless you are worried because you or her dad have allergies or because she has previously reacted badly to products containing cows milk.
