Hi Everyone, my husband and I are coming 'home' to Bristol after several years living overseas and outside London. Our sons are 5 years old (Year 1) and 3 years old (Reception 2020) We're looking at living in or near Clifton Village but I've heard that the primary schools are very oversubscribed. Is this still the case? We'll probably be closest to Hotwells (which I saw didn't have a great Ofsted). Christ Church C of E would be next closest and my preference. I like the look of St Johns but will be the furthest away from our home. Does anyone have any advice? I'm desperate to move back but don't want to buy a place and then not be able to get the kids into a local school....
