Baby reflux?

My baby is 3 months old and has been on SMA since birth. At the moment he is sick all the time. He has always been a sucky baby but for the past month it’s all the time, I change his AND MY clothes 5/6 times a day, he is sick after feeds, during feeds and in between feeds sick will just fall out of his mouth in bits. He doesn’t have colic, brings up his wind well and doesn’t cry in discomfort is literally just sick then carries on content and smiling. I don’t know whether it’s worth trying anti reflux milk? Will changing to aptamil anti reflux make him worse and upset his tummy? Has anybody else had similar experiences and if so what did you do? I have tried all the standard burping every other ounce, sitting him up during and after feeding but none of this and helped.

We got prescribed Ranitidine for reflux which really helped

My baby was the same. Constantly sick but never upset, very content and smiley. He put on weight well. A GP told me he was reluctant to prescribe anything unless the baby seemed to be uncomfortable - some babies are just “sicky”. A health visitor said “what you have here is a laundry problem” and told me to keep old towels around. It gradually got better and stopped completely when he started weaning onto solids.

He was breastfed so I can’t say whether a different formula would help but I did ask GP about reflux medication and about whether I needed to try giving up dairy, he felt both were unnecessary as long as baby was gaining weight and wasn’t showing any signs of discomfort.
