2 year HV check not yet scheduled. Should I chase up?

Are 2 to 2 and a half year HV appointments still a thing?

My DS will be 2 and a half next week and we've yet to receive an appointment. I'm not fussed if he has the appointment as such because I know he's doing well in all areas of his development. I just didn't know if I was obliged as his parent to make sure he got it and therefore meant to chase it up if i'd heard nothing?

I think it depends if your county does them. It varies from area to area. You could always ring your health visitor to clarify and have a chat about any concerns/milestones.

Exactly what Fliss says. We movedfrom one county to another and my DC1 didn’t have a check between 9 months and 3 years and then I had to chase it up.

Thanks guys. I'll give them a call and see what the score is for my area.
