Toddler boy white discharge from penis

Hi - sorry to ask such a personal question but I just went to change 28 month old DS overnight nappy and it was full of white little lumps, like a kind of discharge. Nothing looks red and he says it doesn't hurt. I did some googling and it sounds like smegma? He seems so young! He's not circumcised and I did find one site suggesting this can happen when the foreskin separates from the penis as he ages. It doesn't seem worth going to the doctors but I just thought I'd check here to see if anyone else has experienced this? It's my first son so I'm clueless.

That definitely sounds like something I'd be ringing a medical professional about. Call your HV and they'll let you know whether to make an appointment with the GP or not.
