Night time milk

My sons just turned 2 and struggling to take away his bottle, what should he be drinking milk from at his age

Hi OP, will he use a soppy cup during the day? I'm no expert but I think that is what is recommended instead of bottles, the free flow or an open cup.

I mean milk just before bed , he drinks in a sippy cup during the day but it evening just before bed he wont give up the bottle

Would changing his routine be an option?

You could do bath, with a cup of milk (mine seemed to like the novelty of this) then books and bed. It might be better if someone else can the reading and bed for a few nights as he is less likely to kick off.

Another alternative might be reducing the milk by an ounce every few nights or replacing an ounce of milk with water?

It's not up to him is it. If you want him to give it up then you are in control of that!
