After going to Puddleducks classes with me or my husband every week since she was tiny (she's just turned 3). My daughter finally got a place on the local council pool's swimming programme.
The preschool class is the first class they go in on their own (albeit a shallow learner pool they can stand up in) and actually learn some stuff rather than splashing around singing nursery rhymes.
Week one seemed to go well, she got in, took part, great I thought, this transition has been seamless.
But no.
In the three weeks since, I can get her changed and poolside but not in the pool.
I don't know what to do.
For reference the first week, there were 4 other kids in the pool, since then there has been one or none.
The teacher is an older male (she's previously only had female teachers).
