Hopefully this will be fairly lighthearted but does anyone else's child just eat all day long?
My dd is almost 5 and lately all she says to me is 'make something to eat' every ten minutes!
She's only been up since 9 and she's already eaten a bowl of cereal, scrambled egg on toast, a yogurt and fruit and now she's demanding ham sandwiches!
Frankly I'm running out of things to feed her and it's only lunch time..what is going on??

She sounds bored.

Has she got worms!! Not pleasant I know but if she has an itchy bum at all then you may need to take a look at her poop!!! My daughter gets them occasionally from school! She’s 7, when she starts eating like a horse and her bum itches it’s guarenteed. They look like teeny weeny white lines xx

Hi thanks! No definitely not worms, I know the signs from my older child 😖
We had that really hot spell recently and she didn't eat a lot, her appetite just dropped off I'm wondering if she's making up for that now her appetite has returned! That or a growth spurt perhaps.
I feel like I'm constantly feeding her this past week she's been like a termite!

Give her a cold glass of water/ an ice pop and if she's still hungry 15 mins after that then feed her

Ullupullu · 16/08/2019 14:51

Does she really talk to you like that?

thebogwitchisback · 16/08/2019 16:27

Well it's been a really rainy week, we've been a birthday party and she's had some friends round for a play day, we've had some nice duvet and movie afternoons so definitely trying to keep the boredom at bay but the glass of water idea is a good one!
