Plus size baby carriers

My DH has a 60 inch chest and we are after a baby carrier we can both use but hardly any seem to specify the fitting size they only mention the baby’s weight/length. Has anyone had a similar issue and bought one they know would fit so we can buy the same?

Go to a sling meet and try some on and get some fitting help. Most that are meant to expand or have extenders do it in the hips (as that’s where people are wider usually). It will probably be a matter of trial and error to find the right one that fits you both as it’s very individual.

That said, a wrap will likely comfortably fit you both if you are happy to give it a go. You can get wraps in many sizes (a woven wrap in a 6 would surely fit him) and they are more comfortable to wear too.

My husband has a broad chest (XL / XXL in men's clothes) but I don't know the exact measurement I'm afraid. He uses an Ergobaby 360 with no bother and it has plenty of room to spare. I'm a size 22 and used a Tula and the ergobaby with no problem. I google searched 'best baby carrier for plus sized mums' and was suggested the Tula and I loved it. Maybe you'll find similar information for bigger men???
