10 month old won't sleep in her cot

Hi everyone!

Wasn't sure what topic to put this in...

I have a 10 month old who will only sleep in her cot for like 1 hour at night but when she comes into bed she sleeps most of the night! Since she's been teething she has been an awful sleeper.

She loves the comfort of our bed, well that's what I'm guessing..

What's the comfiest and best mattress to get for her cot bed? Or do you think I could get a ready bed for her? Or a cuddle pod thing? (She has one but then she learnt to roll over and I took it out of her bed)! Or ways to make her cot more comfortable and like a bed?

I need some ideas I'm tired haha!

Thank you!👍🏻

My dd hated her cot when she was that age. I used to let her sleep in our bed in her sleepyhead. I think I transitioned her into her cot when she was about 13 months. Even then I put a mattress next to her and slept with her.

I knew it was time to stop doing that when i was no longer a comfort to her and more of a distraction from her getting to sleep.

Then we put in a proper routine where we bathed her at 6.30 and put her in bed at 7.30. Think she only had a little cry the first few minutes of the first night and then she was brilliant. Straight to sleep every night without a fuss.

All sounds such a faff now but it was anything for some sleep back then. She 2.5 now and sleeps really well.
