Hi all! I’m a private nanny in London and heard today from the mum I work for that her friends (a lesbian couple) had found it really difficult to find a nanny for their DD. As a lesbian myself, I am always upfront with families and have had nothing but positive experiences in terms of me as a childcare provider.
Is this the norm? Are there other LGBT parents who have found it difficult searching for a nanny/childminder? Is there scope for a service matching families with this issue with interested nannies?
