Claiming Child benefit for 2nd child, how?

So I’ve been trying to get through to their helpline number and I’m fed up of being on hold for ever half an hour!!

All I want to know is what form do I need to fill out?? Do I just need to fill out the additional child or do I need to do the whole thing again? I’m really confused about it all lol

Mintypea5 Yea I’ve seen this but still don’t know if I need to fill out both forms or just the additional child form? We meet all above criteria and the helpline is useless.

Normally, you just do it when you register the birth. It's very straightforward. If you've already registered the birth and didn't claim then for whatever reason, from the website it looks like you have to call them to do it by phone if you meet all those criteria.
