School shoes

Has anyone bought school shoes from Treads? I keep seeing an advert on Facebook and they sound great and have a 12 month Indestructible guarantee and lots of good reviews.

We've always gone to Clarks for shoes and I wondered how these compared? At £45 a pair I don't want to waste our money.

The kids I look after have school shoes from George at asda and they've lasted a whole year, despite them walking or biking a mile each way to school and playing lots of football.

Ah I hadn't thought about supermarket shoes, always assumed because they are cheap they wouldn't last.
