DD weed on the potty 4 times yesterday but was it just fluke?? Is she ready to take the plunge?? Each time ds went to the loo yesterday dd (21 months) started shouting wee wee. So ds took dd nappy off each time, ds sat on the loo and dd sat on the potty. Very funny to watch. Each time dd did a wee to my amazement. Should I now start potty training??

Sounds like she is up for it to me! Keep it going and see what happens. Did she also wee in her nappy or only with big brother?

We have just started with DD aged 28 months and after a few accidents on days 1 & 2 she is whipping her trousers off like a good 'un! Getting her back into them afterwards is more difficult! I didn't realise how many small pees a 2yo could fit into one day! I guess these will become fewer and larger as her control improves. She was a bit reluctant to poo in the potty so put a nappy on for the first two days. I am hoping that this is it, but realise that nothing is usually that simple. I was happy to leave it as late as poss and although we have had a potty in the house for about 10mths which has been weed in, pooed in and played with for all that time, the impetus for really going for it came from my DD.

Let her set the pace, but be prepared to leave it for a while if it turns out to be a passing interest. It is more than possible that she is ready for it.
