Last nap

My little boy is 11 months old and he always has a nap around 4pm (really hard to not let him have it as he goes crazy) I know this is too late and he shouldn't be napping at this time. What time does your babies have their last nap? And how many do they have a day?

Why is it too late?

At that age my dd used to sleep 3-5, sometimes later if needed, then bed between 7-8

I actually found it was better to have a late nap at that age and delay bedtime a bit than risk either a very over-tired, screaming baby who wouldn't settle for hours on end or a really early bedtime and waking up at 4am as a result!

At 11 months I don't think that's too late.
Is it not being tired at bedtime that is making you worry? What time is bedtime ?

A third nap at that age is fine, as long as it's not too long. 4-45pm would be a good timing as sleep cycles are arou d the 45min mark.

I try to get babies of that age that I look after into a routine of; wake up 6.30-7.00am, 45 min-1hr nap around 9am, 1 1/2 - 2hrs straight after lunch around 12.30, then bed around 7pm.
