Leaving baby for long weekend

I am leaving my 10 month old for a 3 night trip to ibiza for a hen do! I am a bridesmaid and commited before having my LO. He will be with his dad but the thought of it is worrying me already! He is EBF but takes a bottle and I will likely be combination feeding by then.

Looking for mums that have done this and assure me he will be fine?! Thanks Xxxx

As long as he comfortably takes a bottle and has a dad who is able to comfort him and manage his routine, he'll be fine. I was back at work and had a two night trip by the time my little girl was 11 months - she barely missed me. I think they notice more when they're two/three - they're easy enough to distract and keep occupied as babies. Enjoy. Wine

Thanks for your reply....this makes me feel more reassured! His dad is amazing with him and actually comforts him just as good (if not better) than me! I am just a bit of a worrier and hope I can go and relax! His dad has been on a couple of trips away so I guess us mums need a break too its just the mum guilt!!!! Xxxx

I left my dd when she was 6 months old for 2 nights, my partner took me to venice for my birthday so she stayed with my mum. She was absolutely fine although she was so excited to see us on our return that she cried lol. But I think I was probably more upset than her when we left. Luckily we had an early morning flight so she was still asleep when we left so she didnt have to see us actually leave her which probably helped xx
