Fussy toddler

Hi,
My 17 month toddler is refusing to eat near enough everything. Used to love cereals now not interested. Doesn't want toast, won't eat sandwiches which used to be his favourite. Won't eat sweet corn which he loved let alone any veg at all. I even brought Birdseye veggie burgers to try and disguise them but he didn't even try them. I feel like I'm constantly cooking food and he just wastes it. He used to love fish fingers he now hates them. Tonight for dinner I don't even know what to give him because he just throws it all on the floor! Any ideas?

I cant help you OP as I'm currently in exactly the same boat with my 19 month old Strangely, I actually searched the infant feeding threads this morning to see if anyone had posted about this.

My infant was the best eater going weaning was fun, he ate and was happy to try a wide variety of flavours and textures. He ate from a spoon when I wanted to feed him and fed himself when I gave him finger food. I was feeling pretty smug until the last few months when all of the foods hes previously liked hes stopped eating

He wont eat bread, cheese, eggs, pasta, chicken, ham, tuna and various veg. If it were up to him he'd live on raisins and yoghurt. Last night his tea was beand and waffles which he loved but it's not something I'd be happy to give more than one a fortnight.
I suppose it's time to start being clever and mixing the good stuff in with the tasty stuff and see if that works

I did purees and individual portions of food for my first ds. I found it stressful when he didnt eat. With ds2, i do blw and it's great. Encourages us all to eat healthy and if he doesnf eat much, I dont feel like i'm wasting food.

Possibly teething? My LO stopped eating anything when teething, I kept offering food and upped the milk until she felt hungry again

@Tiptopj
I'm so glad someone can relate to this!
I feel exactly the same with my little one all he will eat is pasta! I've tried making noodles with mixed veg in it it worked the first time but he's sussed it out and won't eat it anymore. Doesn't like beans he used to. Or potatoes!
It's the same with my little one aswell he was such a good eater used to clean his plate and eat everything got to around 14 months and became the fussiest eater. As you said I can't just feed him chicken dippers for the foreseeable future!
