14 week old won't be held by anyone else - advice?

Hello folks,

DS2 is 14 weeks old and in the past week has entered a new, exciting phase - he won't be held by anyone other than me (mum). The screaming is earsplitting and very dispiriting for my DH. Even my MIL, who is amazing in every way possible, can't stop DS2 from having a meltdown after 2 minutes.

I'm sure it's a fairly common phenomenon, but DS1 never did this, and I'm just getting really tired! Have any of you experienced this? Did you just resign yourself to being the sole holder of the child for a while? Or should I keep trying to hand him over to others for a bit? And how long does this all last?!?

Any advice appreciated. DS2 has reflux and spends most of the day in a sling, if that makes any difference.
