Cot/crib recommendations please?

Apologies if this isn't the right place for this post!

We're having our first baby in December, and although we're not going too mad with buying stuff yet, I've found one of these second hand on a local selling page for an amazing price:

Has anyone got one of these, and do you recommend it?? Do you need to buy a separate cot/crib for long stretches of baby's sleep?

If not, is there anything else cot or crib wise I should keep an eye out for? Space is not an issue but we would prefer a co-sleeper, and it can't be too expensive - budget is probably about £100.

Many thanks in advance x

I highly recommend the Chico Next2Me. We had a different crib and DS would not sleep in it because he couldn't see us. We have the Next2Me attached to the bed with the side down so he can hold our hand as he falls asleep.

They're £150 brand new but you can pick up off eBay much cheaper second hand.

My biggest regret was not buying that straight off following recommendations on here and going for a cheaper model because after a few days, we had to buy this anyway and the other crib was a waste.

@TokenGinger thanks for your reply - I'll keep an eye out for the Next2Me as well, though definitely will look out for a pre-loved one. Have you got another cot ready for when baby grows out of it, or still waiting for that?

We've got another cot ready. We ordered this one off eBay which is actually a Wayfair one. I wasn't convinced it would come and look like it's supposed to but it does and it's lovely. I like this because it has a cover over the drawer section and many don't so you can see what's inside.

If I had a newborn again I’d go for a rocking crib that I could jiggle with my feet while laying in bed
