My little boy has his 1 year injections Thursday.

What level of poorly should I anticipate and would you go swimming straight after ( usual Thursday plans)

We had our jags last week. He was neither up or down bearly, cried at the jags, never had to give any pain relief either

From memory I think DS was ok afterwards. However, he was quite poorly with terrible diarrhoea ten days after (a known side effect of the MMR). Just telling you, so you can be aware with your plans!

Mine was a fairly poorly mess for about 5 hours more or less straight after. Would only cuddle me, didn’t want to move at all. Bounced back quickly but I wouldn’t have wanted her swimming.

He was miserable as to be expected for about two hours, they advised me to give him calpol straight away and he was still not great. A week later he was very poorly indeed.

Mine seemed fine for the rest of the day. But I gave the recommended 3 doses of Calpol for the Meningitis jab so that will have helped.

Mine was quite poorly that night, temperature and a little sick. I think probably straight after he’d be fine, more a few hours later it can kick in but then some children have little reaction

My DS had his 3 months ago and the worst bit was having the jabs done. He cried for about 5 mins after but stopped when I gave him some chocolate buttons! We went camping the day after and he had zero side effects.

The first set of jabs he had done were the worst in terms of side effects (temp, fussiness, miserable)

Good luck!
