Never been that way at all before and we’ve chosen not to go abroad so this is the first holiday with our 13 month old!

Would love your recommendations of hotels, areas, things to do with little ones etc.

Want somewhere we can all enjoy, not too far from a beach and will be with a car so can travel round easily.

Don’t mind self catering/ hotels etc

Any advice appreciated!

We’ve got back last Friday. We stayed in Lanreath, 3 miles from Looe and Polperro. Lovely beach at Looe and lots of cafes and restaurants as well as things for your LO to do like crabbing. We stayed at stone rush lakes which is self catering lodges and previous years we have stayed at deer park forest which again are lodges. Where ever you stay, I can’t recommend lappa valley enough! Fantastic place for kids and so much to do. Steam trains, trampolines, sand pits etc!

We've just got from Parracoombe a little village in the middle of woolacombe and illfracombe lovely beaches lots of body boarding and kayaking. Nearby watermouth castle and quince honey farm for day trips plus dinosaur park/world.
