Skipping crawling

So my nearly 9 month old seems to be skipping crawling and going straight to walking , he has wanted to be on his feet since 6 months and is walking well aided.

As he hasn’t crawled he is really struggling to balance while trying to cruise so not quite getting there, is there anything I can do to help him gain this skill as he is getting very frustrated?

He also hates tummy time

I could have written this about my 8 month old, though she can’t quite pull herself up herself yet (not for want of trying, mind).

I’ll share in the plea for tips; she is VERY frustrated that all her baby buddies can crawl away from her out refuses even try herself 🤦🏽‍♀️

My ds was cruising at 8ish months didn't attempt to crawl until 9.5 months crawled for 2 weeks then walked and hasn't stopped running since

All babies are different and go at their own rate. I'm enjoying dd (8 months) sitting still and making no attempt to pull herself up, is trying to crawl but only managing sliding backwards slightly

Just go with your babe. My DD is 13 months and has never crawled. She started bum shuffling properly at 11 months and also first pulled herself up then. But she's only been doing it a lot/competently for the last couple of weeks and also only been cruising the last couple of weeks. She is likely to be a late walker - most bum shufflers are. I just follow her lead. She will get there. HV said to take her the GP if she's not done any independent steps by 18 months. DM was a bum shuffler and didn't walk til 2ish. They're all different.
