Hi everyone, my baby girl is over 3 months old and she's been formula fed from birth. I was told by HV that she doesn't need any Vit D supplementation as she's getting enough with formula. Yesterday I found on some website that if baby doesn't get 1l or more of formula per 24h then should be supplied with Vit D. I started looking into it as my girl doesn't eat much for her age she gets around 800ml per 24h. So I found some articles saying to give Vit D if baby eats less than 500ml and some saying about 1000ml Confused What are your opinions on this? Do you give Vit D if your baby is on formula? Shoul I start supplement her ?
