Yes, it does happen sometimes. I feel terrible too :( have a14mth old and he always plays up when I'm feeding his sister! (14weeks) so I have shouted before too :(
Hate it .

Hey, I've done this twice today with my 22 month old. Sometimes it's hard. I think lots of parents don't bat an eyelid at shouting all the time so if you're mindful of it, you're winning.
Also sometimes if they're not safe you have to shout.

Actually I think I shouted most between ages 5-8.

Bloody hell I say it on a daily basis to my 3 year old.

InDubiousBattle · 22/07/2019 17:31

I very much doubt there is even one parent who has never done this.

Dear lord! Just the once!!

My DS is 22. I must have shouted at him a million times while growing up. He is doing very well, is more well rounded and better adjusted than me and we have a great relationship that's been commented on by other people.

Don't sweat it. It won't be the last time!

Shouted “Will you just give me a minute!!?” At my 22mo today getting ready for his group cos he was being a maniac as usual and it had gone on all morning. Felt a bit bad but we all have breaking points, babies and toddlers can be testing (are definitely testing).
