Long story short, DS has started nursery..cue all the illnesses.
DS stopped eating yesterday at 2.30 and hasnt eaten since. Took him to out of hours (hes 9 months) who said tummy bug. He had a few oz of milk this afternoon so tried him on dinner. One spoonfull and he threw up everything hes eaten today. The most projectile vom ive ever seen. DH has now gone to bed feeling hot, sick and extreamly tired.. he defo has this bug. So im flying solo with a sick 9month old and i have tonsilitus, conjunctivitus, ringworm over my neck and face and in my hair, and now probably this bug too. Im meant to be in work tomorrow (obviously not happening thanks to sickville) and im waiting to hear if ive got a promotion i applied for.
Please someone tell me this will be over in a few days and taking a day to look after sick ds wont kill my chances of this job?! I dont really care if it does to be honest, he needs me. Just the worst timing in history.
(I realise this is a minimal problem to a lot of people but im struggling!) Handholds and help!

Oh no! It will pass. Get plenty of sheets and towels ready in easy to grab places around the house. As many sick bowls as you can muster, paper towels and anti bac spray. That should cover any sickness. Keep water, as cold as you can get it and encourage anyone too poorly to eat to sip on that. Keep an eye on little ones wet nappies too.
As for work, you are sick. Tonsillitis and conjunctivitis are both contagious and reason enough to stay away from the office. They don’t need to know DS is poorly too.
Good luck with the promotion!
