Hi, going to Turkey next week with our 3yr old DD and 1yr old DS and I don’t know what to take for them clothes wise as in the UK when it’s a hot day they normally just wear a t shirt and nappy. Any advice?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I live in a hot country (Australia) so I'm pretty clued up. He will need thin, long sleeved tops and a LOT of good sunscreen. Keep his hat on.

For swimming he wants a sun protective suit with arms and legs.

Shorts and t shirts for evenings. Maybe a hoodie in case there's a breeze.

You need shorts for the older one but the younger can get away in just a bodysuit

We recently went to Turkey with our 3 year old and 6 month old. 3 year old wore shorts and t shirts, then long sleeved rash vest and swim hat and swim shorts for the pool/beach. Plus lots of suncream! Baby wore rompers or just a short sleeved bodysuit and had a full length uv suit for the pool plus swim hat. Then usual night wear as air con was v effective!
