boy's fighting

I have my step son at weekend and i have two sons with my partner. Step son is 8 and my boy's are 4 and 2. My 4 year old really looks forward to see him at weekends but I wonder why because most of the time they are fighting or arguing. Sometimes my step son picks on 4 yr old and the whole situation drives me mad. How do I deal with it without taking sides?

I don't have this problem yet but I would try to introduce some house rules. Maybe sit them down and explain now they are getting bigger here's the rules for the house and if they are flouted the consequences are a, b, c. See if they have input or suggestions so they feel part of the new arrangement. I am sure there are others on here who will have some great tips, good luck
