7 yo DS behaviour

Ds is seven and is bright and full of beans. He has always been very clingy and quite stubborn, but his behaviour at the moment is driving me up the bloody wall and I just want to know if anyone has had similar.

He is so bloody noisy all the time. Talking to himself, shouting, bashing things constantly. Throws himself around the room and can’t walk anywhere sensibly. Makes silly noises, pulls silly faces, generally just can’t do anything without a great big fuss. He is also so physical with me, likes to be near me all the time if he can, it’s like having a st Bernard’s. He literally gets under my feet and tries to hug me all the time. It is so wearing. At school he can be a bit silly but is generally fine. At home he is bouncing off the walls. We do lots of lovely activities and have lots of family time. I know he’s anxious about changing schools in September and also tired after a busy term, but is this normal for 7 year olds to behave like this?! Am struggling.
