17 mo ds2 is just a regular goer. No constipation or dietary issues etc. However he has for the past two months pooed in the bath every. single. night.

He's started becoming upset when he goes in the bath saying "poo poo poo" and this has now transferred to when he has pooed or if he's about to poo. His language is pretty forward and this morning he was saying it hurt after he pooed, while I was cleaning him and while I was putting the new nappy on. I don't think it hurts but he's obviously expressing he isn't happy.

I've not long potty trained my eldest 2y5m so I guess we have a lot of poo and wee talk in the house.

I'm not sure what to do. I don't particularly fancy potty training a 17mo. 24 months was annoying enough he bloody turned two and started asking to use the toilet

DD2 did this. For a few weeks I would put her on the potty before the bath/in the middle if she got upset and needed to go. Think the warm water helped things along. It was a phase and didn't last long.

That said, she did potty train quite early. We've been dry since around March, when she was ~20 months.
