Hey guys, I'm sure this has probably been posted before, but does anyone have any success stories with amber teething bracelets and where best to buy them? Also are they better on ankle or wrist? Thanks mumsnetters! :)

There is no evidence other than anecdotal stories that these work. Scientifically there is no way they can possibly do what they claim to do. Save your money and buy a teething ring and some teething gel.

They’re a choking hazard and they don’t work, except as a placebo. Get some anbesol liquid which is actual magic (and proven to!) and put down the jewellery for babies.

Sorry they are a choking risk and I can’t imagine why anyone would put beads on a baby. There is no evidence that they work.

Utter nonsense and a dangerous choking hazard. Amber does contain an analgesic substance but you’d have to heat it to something ridiculous like 200 degrees for it to work. Buy some calpol instead.
