I'm new to mumsnet so hello! :) I just had a beautiful baby boy three weeks ago today and for the first while I was breastfeeding but now it's really best for me and my baby if we move on to formula (a very difficult decision for me) I was introducing one formula feed every 4 days and have now got him to 3 formula feeds a day and his other feeds are just from the breast, but now he's becoming less and less satisfied with a breastfeed which is making nights very difficult. He just fusses and won't latch when he's getting to the end of his feed, I presume this is because the breast is harder work to get milk that the bottle. Would anyone know if it's ok to just now switch to formula completely or would this be too tough on his digestive system? He's been taking to the bottle feeds I've introduced so far really well, so is it safe to make the switch and just stop the breast feeding?
Sorry for the long message!
Thankyou in advance :)

I think very likely it’s your supply is less. You could try switching sides and making sure you are feeding from both sides. But yes, it’s absolutely fine to switch to formula if that’s what you want to do. For your own sake, you may want to pump for comfort or off one feed a day, etc so you don’t get mastitis.
