Help using chicco easyfit carrier for newborn

Well, baby isn't quite newborn anymore, she's 7 weeks.
But despite the chicco easyfit baby carrier being 'suitable from birth' I can't seem to get baby snug enough.
I have all the straps as tight as they can go.
But when wearing the cross section of the back straps rides up and ends up putting pressure on my neck. Baby slips down so she's then too low.
I'm average height and weight. Size 12/14. Baby isn't teeny, about 10lbs.
Am I missing something with this carrier?

They are not ergonomic so you will never get a good fit for you or baby. If you can return it do. See if you have a sling library go along and try on some good reputable and ergonomic slings to find what works for you. If you can't get to a sling library have a look at it's a sling thing on Facebook. You will never find a carrier like chicco/ infantio /baby Bjorn at sling libraries for a reason unfortunately they seem main steam but are not great.

I agree with Loosemoose - Baby Björn are not good carriers, you can actually harm your baby with these! I find it completely irresponsible of companies to produce shit like that.

Agreed with the two above. You’d be better with a Caboo or a Connecta.

For a soft sling, I really like the Caboo. And we use an Ergobaby omni 360 for a more structured one now she's getting big. Baby should be in frog leg position, not with legs dangling straight down.
