Bladder Control ! Will not wee in anything but nappy !

My daughter is 2y 4m almost and has the bladder control mastered but will hold it in until a nappy goes on her ! She will just not do it in potty or on toilet. She holds it in so long she gives herself a sore tummy and gets upset ! Any ideas how to get past this ?!

Our dd has a similar problem in that she won't poo except in a nappy, and we have decided just to ease the pressure off for now and let her decide for herself when she wants to do it.

In your case I think I would relax, and put her back into nappies for a while. My dd got more enthusiastic about getting rid of nappies for weeing when I took her out on a special shopping trip to buy some nice knickers, and let her choose the ones she wanted. She was so enthusiastic about these lovely new knickers that she decided then and there that she was a big girl who wanted to wee on the potty - and that was all it took. Might be worth a try?
