Formula to cows milk

Ds is 1 this week, how did you transition onto cows milk? After some guidance.

I agonised over changing over, and in the end my dd did not notice one bit. I just changed her bottle to the same measure of milk and she didn't realise at all!

I’ve been mixing slowly so started with a 4:3 ratio last week this week half and half and next week 3:4 then I should have finished my tub! I give her cows milk on it’s own for her afternoon drink in a cup - that will be the next to go I think. Have been doing that since late last week. She’s one Wednesday

You don’t have to change to cows milk
After 1 children can , if they have a god diet get every nutrient they need from food.

If they like a drink of milk there’s no reason why you can’t carry on with formula (unless cost is an issue). Any milk alternative (except rice milk) is also fine

Just gave her a bottle of cows milo at about 11 months old. Thought i might as well try before faffing with micing if it wasn't needed!
